Soil to Plate

Tuesday 8th September

A fabulous time to showcase our wonderful kitchen garden that Martin Ashley keeps for us. Tom our chef works closely with Martin and together they plan for the year ahead supplying the hotel with as much home grown produce as possible. Join us for the day with Tom and Martin who will provide you with lots of useful information on growing your own and how to store, preserve and cook your growing achievements.

9.30am: Coffee and Biscuits on arrival

10.00am: Tour of our vegetable garden. Take the opportunity to ask Martin any green fingered questions that you may have.

12.00noon: Vegetables will be picked throughout the tour whereupon returning to the house, Tom  will show you how to prepare the produce and cook a delicious meal.

                                           1.00pm: Two course Lunch
