New Wedding Ceremony Room
Looking for a venue to get married at? Want to make the most out of our beautiful summer weather? But can’t find somewhere licensed that combines this?
Lewtrenchard Manor is proud to announce the licensing of their archway, which allows couples to get married whilst their guests sit in our beautiful courtyard. This brings the grand total of our licensed rooms to 5 in house rooms and now a 6th outside. Upon being licensed on the 21st April, our events co-ordinator, Vicky Lee, immediately contacted all of the weddings who were currently booked, offering this venue as a choice. Mr and Mrs Easterbrook immediately snapped up this opportunity.
On Saturday, the happy couple enjoyed an outside service, with guests managing to avoid the light showers and instead enjoying the warmth left over from our recent heat-wave. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful ceremony, already complemented by our stunning flowers that decorate the courtyard. The olive tree gave an Italian vibe to the ceremony. Who needs to go to Italy when you have Lewtrenchard’s courtyard?
Not only were Mr and Mrs Easterbrook able to enjoy the courtyard, they were able to have pictures both inside the manor house and in front of the manor house and grounds. This meant they were able to enjoy every aspect Lewtrenchard has to offer. It was a beautiful wedding and the courtyard enabled it to be one to remember, both for guests and staff alike.
As our first wedding utilising the courtyard, it was a roaring success. Whilst a room was left ready inside in case of our changing weather, the warmth and beauty outside made it an incredible experience. The courtyard was a cacophony of colours, from the many plants that were potted or growing along the walls.
If you fancy something a bit different, why not get married in Lewtrenchard’s courtyard? With regard to the laws that state you have to get married under a structure with a permanent ceiling and floor, we utilised the archway in front of the courtyard. We placed a trestle table underneath the archway, meaning all legal requirements were done under here and the rest could be enjoyed under the open sky. Whilst this sated the law, it also meant that the lucky couple could remain under the blue sky for the rest of the ceremony.
Why not book a beautiful ceremony at Lewtrenchard that is held in our courtyard? Allow the guests to enjoy the beautiful blue skies and enjoy the natural beauty of our flowers already creating such an exuberant and beautiful setting.
