AN EGGS-TRAORDINARY EASTER AT

Lewtrenchard Manor

With Easter Sunday fast approaching, Lewtrenchard is a hive of activity as bosses and employees alike frantically prepare the hotel. There are daffodils to be collected, food to be ordered, dining rooms to be prepared and eggs to buy. In order to prepare the beautiful hotel for an Easter Sunday worth remembering. Everyone at the hotel pulls together in order to create memories for the guests both staying and dining.

The decadent ballroom will be where guests dine for lunch, amongst the gilt and sumptuous decoration. With luck there will be Easter sunlight shining through the large mullioned windows. The menu boasts a great choice dishes for diners to choose from. All the starters promise to bombard the taste buds with vestiges of spring – fresh, light ingredients such as lemongrass, pea, mushroom and wild garlic.

The mains are hearty, full dishes that promise to satisfy diners, with its nod to the traditional roasts enjoyed by all. The dessert list is just as attractive with its promise of either a rich chocolate treat, broken up by the tartness of the berry sorbet, the almond and apple tart, the Eton Mess that is an Easter favourite.

For guests staying in the Easter Triple Treat, you can experience the traditional complimentary Hot Cross Bun lavished in golden butter. Best enjoyed in front of the roaring log fires that help keep the chill of spring away. You can then roam the grounds around Lewtrenchard, perhaps a quick look down at the lake, watching the the small waterfall as it cascades into the water below. Or instead, choose a walk around the grounds, smelling the sweetness of the daffodils that still cover the ground, or blankets of bluebells.

An Easter at Lewtrenchard becomes a cherished memory that you want to visit again and again. It is not just an ordinary Easter with the promise of sweet treats; it is a memory created that will be looked back at again and again.
