Gertrude Jekyll at Lewtrenchard Manor Posted on 20/11/2007
Jason Hornbuckle, Chef Patron, discovered the original designs of part of the Lewtrenchard gardens created by Gertrude Jekyll, the famous Victorian garden designer.
The designs were never implemented but work has now commenced to create the ‘Jekyll garden’.

Lewtrenchard Manor has been awarded three AA rosettes for culinary excellence in the new AA Restaurant Guide 2005 – one of the highest accolades it is possible to receive. The restaurant previously held 2 AA rosettes.
