Join us for an evening of indulgence here at Lewtrenchard Manor.
Our Head Chef Matthew Peryer is joined by some fellow chefs to create a unique six course tasting menu and is accompanied with a matching flight of wines from the outstanding Hallgarten Druitt Wines, to create an enjoyable and memorable evening to tantalise the taste buds. This evening is in aid of CHICKS Children’s Charity, based in Brentor, near Tavistock, which provides free respite breaks to disadvantaged children from all over the UK.
Starting off the evening, our own Matthew Peryer will get those taste buds going with delectable canapés and a glass of bubbly in the gallery. Heading into the ballroom for the main event, James Parkinson, Executive Chef of Luxury Family Hotels, with his Head Chef from Fowey Hall, James Jones will begin with an wonderful amuse bouche.
Next to demonstrate his culinary skills is Dez Turland, Group Development Chef of Brend Hotels where he has been for over 20 years. He brings with him the winner of 2016’s South West Professional Chef of the Year Jamie Colman, his Head Chef at Saunton Sands. They will be creating a mouth watering and distinctive starter.
Jason Hornbuckle, ex-Head Chef here at Lewtrenchard and current Head Chef at The Haven Hotel, Sandbanks in Dorset presents his superb cuisine in the fish course.
The main event will be produced by Steve Barringer, ex-Lewtrenchard Sous Chef and Professional Masterchef finalist in 2011. Now owner and Head Chef of the Anchor in Tilsworth, he will be showcasing his exceptional gastronomic skills.
Finally for dessert, young up and coming pastry chef Glenn Noel, previously of the Atlantic Hotel, Jersey and he will be whipping up some delicious delights.
To finish off the evening, enjoy some of Matthew Peryer’s scrumptious petit fours along with coffee whilst the raffle takes place. Raffle prizes to include: overnight stay with dinner for two here at Lewtrenchard Manor; dinner for up to four guests in our Purple Carrot Private Dining room; luxury food and drink hampers.
