It is the perfect location to take in Devon’s breathtaking and awe-inspiring summer scenery and ideal for visiting many well known attractions. As an extra treat why not book a falconry experience or try your hand at clay pigeon shooting or indulge with a fabulous therapy which will be given in the comfort of your own room. Choose from any room category on a first come first served basis.

Enjoy an extra treat and book a 3rd night at a special rate of £195.00 per room, per night on a bed and breakfast basis.

Soil to Plate Event - September

Friday 8th September

A fabulous time to showcase our wonderful kitchen garden, Matt our chef works closely with Martin, the gardener and together they plan for the year ahead supplying the hotel with as much home grown produce as possible. Join us for an interesting day with Matthew and Martin who will provide you with lots of useful information on growing your own and how to store, preserve and cook your growing achievements.

9.30am: Coffee and Biscuits on arrival
10.00am: Join our gardener for a tour of our vegetable garden. Take the opportunity to ask Martin any green fingered questions that you may have.
12.00noon: Vegetables will be picked throughout the tour whereupon returning to the house, chef will show you how to prepare the produce and cook a delicious meal.
1.00pm: Two course Lunch

Murder at the Manor

Friday 27th October

Our fun filled Murder Mystery Evening returns again. Start with a glass of bubbly on arrival served with canapés and mingle amongst fellow guests while the actors will start to set the scene.
A four course dinner in the ballroom will be served, so sit back and let the actors entertain you. A fabulous fun and social night where guests all sit together on large tables banquet style.
Please note that is it not necessary for guests to participate in the actual scene.

Dress code Black Tie.

7.00pm: Arrival with Bubbly and Canapés
7.30pm: Dinner and Event
